No need to go out to a specialty coffee shop for a latte. This recipe shows you how easy it is to make. You’ll save money and calories!

Makes 2 servings

1/3 cup (75 mL) regular grind espresso OR dark roast coffee
1/8 teaspoon (0.5 mL) ground cinnamon
1- ½ cups (375 mL) water
1 packet Pure Via sweetener
2/3 cup (150 mL) nonfat milk
Ground cinnamon (optional)

    Place espresso and ground cinnamon in filter basket of drip coffee pot. Brew coffee with water. Stir Pure Via sweetener into coffee until dissolved. Pour into 2 mugs or cups.
    Heat milk in small saucepan until steaming. Vigorously whisk milk until very frothy. Pour milk into mugs of coffee. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon before serving, if desired.

    VARIATION: For a cold beverage, brew coffee as directed, adding cinnamon and Pure Via sweetener after brewing. Add cold milk. Pour into mugs filled with ice. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if desired.
